Open Dutch ChallengerCup 2020, powered by Nacra Racing
Registration is live!
Please note that due to COVID-19 we have capped registration at a max of 100 people attending as competitor.
Registration and entry will be at a first come first serve level, where only paid registration will count.
We are very happy to confirm that we will be racing this new event style in these unprecedented times.
As you know we flipped the event, making it possible for all beach cat brands & types to compete.
Of course we will do this by following Dutch COVID-19 rules and regulations. We trust you to follow these, but will also keep a sharp eye out for anyone whoe does not.
If there is a violation of these rules & regulations, as well as not following the lead of the volunteers and RC of the Organising Authority Catamaranvereniging Hellecat, and Nacra Racing, immediate exclusion of the competition will follow. Keep 1,5 meters distance at all times!

Our host club for the Open Dutch Championship 2020 is once again Catamaranclub Hellecat. We have been here numerous times. And with right. The Haringvliet where we will be racing is almost always traceable. No matter what the windspeed are. And that makes it the brilliant place to race. More important, it has a long stretch of beach to launch your boat.
Due to COVID-19 there will not be a social program, and there are precaution measures in place, these will be emailed to you in the first weekend of August to reflect the latest known rules & regulations as stipulated by the Dutch Authority. There will be guides routes to toilettes. The locker room is not open, you will have to change clothes etc at your trailer. Drinks are available, you need to pay by barcard. The clubhouse is only accessible for sanitary stops and to buy refreshments. Please follow local rules! Keep yourself and others safe!
At the club you need to buy barcards to pay for your drinks. You can buy these with your bank card via an iZettle.
Important: Beach entry
There is enough space on their beach to support your trailer and boat. In order to get your boat on the beach you need to stay at the carpark above the beach, following directions of the Hellecat crew. You are not allowed to drive your boat down to the club. Please note that the beach entry has a new nav address: Oever Hellevoetsluis
Important: Beach boat parking
Your trailer will be parked at the beach with enough space on the beach to support your trailer and boat, and still have a safe 2 meter circle around you. Please do not visit other boats parked near you or at the beach. Keep 1,5 meters distance at all times!
